OSU Membership

The Otolaryngology Society of Uganda provides some exclusive benefits to its members including continous learning, resident mentorship and research assistance are additional activities

  1. Regular
  2. Any otolaryngologist whose qualifications have been awarded by a recognized university and is duly registered with the medical council. Non-Ugandan otolaryngologist who wishes to join the association must present to the governing body the following documents for evaluation and approval;

    • a. License for the practice of Medicine
    • b. Certificate of completion of training in Otolaryngology
    • c. Recommendation from at least two (2) otolaryngologists, preferably from the applicant’s country of residence.

  3. Honorary
  4. The governing body can recommend anyone, whether Uganda or not, as an honorary member.

  5. Associate Members
  6. Medical workers with at least one (1) year qualification in otolaryngology or related field and is duly registered with the relevant council.
